Requirements
This test shall be performed according to
agreement.
Resistance to abrasion by cables rubbing against
one another is defined by the number of cycles that are required until the
cable insulation has been rubbed through and the electrical contact of the conductors
shuts off the machine.
The friction points of the cables must be in the
center of the cables (140 ± 14)
mm. The diameter of the axle must be greater than 14 times the cable diameter.
Two cables of the same material and cross section shall be used as specimens.
The
test is performed acc. to DIN EN 3745-511. The moving part of the device is
moved back and forth by (6.35 + 0.25) mm peak to peak in the x axis with a
frequency of 10 Hz.
